Manila Bay Clean Up Run

This was my look after finishing the 10k run. Yeah! I was absolutely happy, because I have been a part of this event. It’s worth it and had so much fun.
These are the faces look when you did something good and you have achieved your goal. If you want to be happy, then let us do something good not only for ourselves.
Let us continue our support to the Manila Bay Clean Up Run as well as with the Manila Bay SUNSET Partnership Program, Inc.’s projects. Its objectives which include the following:

| Manila Bay Clean Up Run, 11 July 2015 ABOUT THE EVENT Manila Bay Clean Up Run is an Annual Event intended to raise funds to help clean the Manila Bay. It is a project of Manila Broadcasting Company, in tandem with the City of Manila and Land Bank of the Philippines, and supported by Hapee Toothpaste, Bayad Center, Travel Book, Dock Alternatibo Mix 10 Coffee, 2Go, M. Lhuillier and Enervon. Also, the 2015 Manila Bay Clean Up Run is a part of the 76 Years Anniversary of DZRH. |

We were all excited for this event, because it’s been awhile that we did not run and we joined only for a 5k run, this time was 10k run, so we were all really excited for this. With our excitement, we woke up at 3:00 in the morning to prepare ourselves and arrived on time. We made it all and had few minutes to have this picture.

I was so excited to run… run…. run… my energy was too high. It’s my first 10K run. I can make it! Let us gooooooooow…...
My running buddy’s stop. Oh come on… let’s go… I don’t wanna stop... run... run... run.... Ooops there is a superhandsome ahead of me. We will catch you superhandsome hahah, I mean will pass you… - Some strategies that you will not notice that you are already at the finishing line. Have your own strategy and think of something will boost your energy/endurance. With that, I have finished my 10k for an hour and 28 minutes. Out of 228 runners for the category of 10k, I was on the 131 rank, not bad for first timer, isn't?

Let us continue our support to the Manila Bay Clean Up Run as well as with the Manila Bay SUNSET Partnership Program, Inc.’s projects. Its objectives which include the following:
· To implement a sustainable approach that will help clean and protect the coastal resources of Manila Bay.
· To contribute in the improvement of the quality of the water of the Bay.
· To increase the level of awareness and commitment of the establishments and LGUs in the Manila Bay area.
· To promote volunteerism among member-institutions through sustained partnerships and projects.
· To support public awareness and involvement campaigns to control the pollution of Manila Bay.
Think of first before throwing trash on the side of the road, on the ground, on the water. Why not dispose your trash properly?! Do you love yourself, your family; do you care about the people? For our safety, health and happiness, let us love our environment. Allow the next generation sees this beauty.
